At 8:45am, Luke and I head out on our walk to visit with his new physical therapist, Danielle, at the local state-operated CCS center. It takes about 30-40 minutes to get there on foot/in stroller from home and it's just a stone throw away from the Cal Poly dorms where I first lived in 96-97.
Luke spends about an hour with Danielle, working on his core strength and balance. We just started there in February and thus far he seems to enjoy the new environment (versus home PT) and having new options in toys. The pictures above are of Danielle helping Luke roll by maneuvering him on the balance ball. He will be able to continue at this center for many years to come and I believe the state-run preschool for special needs children is located in the same complex.
P.S. Luke does miss his first/prior PT Megan! She came out to our house every Tuesday and we always enjoyed her company. She's due to have her first baby (a boy!) in April and Luke can't wait to meet a new friend.

Such a big boy and so social, you maker Grammers proud!
I'm sooo glad to see that Luke is doing well with his new PT. He looks so good on that therapy ball. How is the sitting going?? Things here are going well also. I have 7 weeks to go and life is starting to get a little harder. Julie is planning on posting a weekly picture of little Hayden Paul on her website for everyone to see, so I'll let you the address when I get it.
Miss you guys,
Megan
